The shop system

Shiori's shops: what a shop is, how its statuses and tiers work, and every command organized by role for mods, staff, and owners.

What is a shop?

A shop is a Discord channel dedicated to a member so they can showcase and sell their stuff. Shiori keeps track of everything in its database: owners, followers, images, status, and more.

Each shop has a status and a tier:

  • Statuses: open, closed, and warned.
  • Tiers: free and premium.

Commands for mods

  • /shop create (Mod) — Creates a new shop channel for a member.
  • /shop delete (Mod) — Deletes a shop. Asks for confirmation; force skips it.

Commands for staff

  • /shop scan (Staff) — Finds inactive shops (no messages for a set time).
  • /shop warn (Staff) — Marks a shop as warned and sends a reason embed.
  • /shop unwarn (Staff) — Removes the warning and restores the previous status (it won’t reopen if it was closed).
  • /shop warns (Staff) — Shows the full warning history: who, when, the reason, and whether it’s resolved (paginated).

Commands for owners (Designer)

You need to be an owner with the administrator role to use these.

  • /shop edit name/description/color/locale/status — Edits the shop’s details.
  • /shop images — Uploads or removes shop images (up to 4).
  • /shop owners — Adds or removes owners and sets their role as administrator or publisher.
  • /shop permissions — Toggles what regular members can do inside the channel.
  • /shop ping — Pings the opening or updated role (with limits and a cooldown).
  • /shop recreate — Recreates the channel from scratch (logged as a renovation).

Commands for everyone

  • /shop info — Shows a shop’s details with follow/unfollow buttons.
  • /shop follow / /shop unfollow — Follow or unfollow a shop.
