Who can do what?
What each role can do with Shiori: designers, helpers, staff, mods, and admins, with the shops, the embeds, and the systems.
Every member of the team has a role that tells Shiori what they can and cannot do.
The roles and their permissions
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Designer | Assigned to a shop’s owners automatically. Manages the shop: details, images, pings, and more. |
| Staff | Scans and warns shops, previews embeds, and registers students. |
| Mod | Creates and deletes shops. |
| Admin | Full control: on top of everything above, manages the embeds and the systems. |
What can any member do?
Without any special role, members can:
/shop info— see a shop’s details./shop followand/shop unfollow— follow or unfollow a shop.
